So today is Monday July 21 and Luke is still here at Primary Children's Hospital. There's not a lot more to report about him, he is improving every day and getting stronger and stronger. We are REALLY hoping for him to surpass all the doctors expectations and come home sooner than the end of Aug.
Maddie on the other hand is feeling a bit displaced with this whole hospital thing and she can't seem to grasp what's going on. Every time she sees me or Brant she can't let go of us and it just breaks my heart. Yesterday we got to spend the whole day with her at the hospital and she had fun for the most part, by the end of the day she was so tired of the little hospital room and she really wanted to go home.
Needless to say we REALLY hope Luke recovers very quickly.

Oh, how scary! I am glad that you sent me your blog! It always breaks my heart when I hear about little ones struggling. They are jsut so dependent for EVERYTHING, so it seems to be harder. Anyway, I am glad he is doing better and hopefully he can join you guys at home again, soo
